As Liverpool prepare for the Arsenal game, their injury woes are worsening with Andy Robertson picking up a knock during the international break.

Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson are already on the sidelines after picking up injuries in the past couple of days and now Robertson’s name could also be added to that list.

The left-back hobbled off the pitch in Scotland’s victory over Denmark on Monday and immediately there were doubts over his participation vs Arsenal.

By the looks of it, Andy Robertson might have picked up a hamstring injury but we are yet to know the extent of the setback.

He did come onto the pitch after the final whistle and was all smiles after the impressive win but only further scans will reveal if he misses out on Saturday or not.

Jurgen Klopp does have Kostas Tsimikas as a backup for the left-back role and the Greece international has really impressed whenever he’s played this season.

Despite having a proper backup, Klopp won’t be happy one bit with this Andy Robertson setback since the German looks all set to miss as many as five first-team regulars on Saturday.

Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita are already sidelined with injuries and then Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson also joined the list over the weekend.

Now on Monday the injury to Andy Robertson has just made things even worse and with the kind of form Arsenal are in right now, there’s every chance that Mikel Arteta’s could walk out of Anfield with all three points.

To make matters worse, Liverpool will be back in the Champions League next week when they face Porto and if Robertson misses that game as well then its resting players could become a massive headache for the manager.
