Dusan Vlahovic is on the radar of several Premier League sides but it looks like Arsenal are going to be the ones who will go all out to sign the 21-year-old.
The forward has 18 months left on his current deal with Fiorentina and the Serie A side are ready to send him out during the ongoing transfer window. Vlahovic is eager to remain at the club until the end of the season(to be able to choose the best destination) but Fiorentina are planning to cash in on him this month since his value will drop in the summer.
Clubs like Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have also been keeping tabs on the forward but if Mikel Arteta’s words are anything to go by then the North London side are ready to go all out and make a big-money signing this month.
Mikel Arteta said about making a big signing, as quoted: “I think with the amount of things and the way that we want to evolve the squad we have to maximise every window in many different ways and we are alert.
“Edu and his team are working very hard as we know exactly what we need to do.
“Whether we can accomplish that in January or in the summer is a different question as it is related to other stuff. Again if it is the right player and we can afford it and we can do what we want to do we will discuss it and make the best possible decision.
“We are open.”
Arsenal have offered €55m + Lucas Torreira (€15m) for Dusan Vlahovic. Fiorentina are considering the offer. (@Gazzetta_it) #afc pic.twitter.com/rpGLAjgq93

Can Arsenal beat Man City & Spurs to the signing of Dusan Vlahovic?
Fiorentina are ready to send Dusan Vlahovic out if they get the desired transfer fee but there have been rumours that the Serbian is not too keen to join a team like Arsenal.
He wants to join a team with more ambition which invariably means he’s waiting for a team like Manchester City to make a move. Spurs are currently being managed by Antonio Conte so joining them will also be a great prospect for a young player like Vlahovic.
But the sad part of this dream is that neither Spurs nor Man City have made any sort of concrete move for the forward. With 16 goals in 19 league matches this season, the Serbian is going to be a perfect fit for either of these teams but both Conte and Guardiola are not ready to rush into any decision.
Arsenal are currently the only side who are ready to make an offer for Dusan Vlahovic but it might be hard for them to convince the player to make a move.
Agreeing on a deal with Fiorentina will not be an issue for the North London side but if Vlahovic feels that he has even the slightest possibility of joining a team like Man City or Spurs then he is surely going to delay his exit until the end of the season.
