Tottenham Hotspur are planning to step up their interest in Everton forward Richarlison – a player who’s also been linked with Arsenal and also Chelsea.

Everton are in dire need of funds which is why they have no other option but to cash in on some of their most prized assets. Richarlison is a player who’s already tossed his Everton future up in the air and maybe this is why Lampard is willing to part ways with him.

David Ornstein writes for The Athletic that Spurs are now seriously looking to make a move for Richarlison and the price transfer fee should be able to trigger a sale.

He wrote on Twitter: “Tottenham interested in signing Richarlison. No bid yet – will only do it at right price + have other options. Everton want more than reported €60m but need for funds likely to reduce fee + some close to EFC think THFC move will happen.”

How will Chelsea and Arsenal react?

Arsenal are one of the clubs who have been linked with Richarlison but Mikel Arteta is currently focused on Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus.

The Gunners are confident they can get their hands on the Man City forward meaning they are not likely to make a move for the Everton forward.

However, Chelsea could be in a bit of a hassle because Thomas Tuchel is planning to get rid of Werner, Ziyech and Pulisic which is why the German manager is keen to add a new wide attacking player.

Richarlison would have been the perfect fit for that role but now if the Blues wish to sign him then they will have to battle Tottenham Hotspur.

Will Spurs be able to bag the signing of Richarlison before the others?

Tottenham already have players like Son and Harry Kane so Richarlison will have to prove his worth should he decide to join them next season.

However, at the North London club, he will have the chance to play alongside some of the best attacking talents in the Premier League and that too in the Champions League.

Everton narrowly escaped relegation last season whereas Spurs finished fourth on the table so it’s any day a step up for Richarlison and if Daniel Levy and agree on a transfer fee with Everton, the Brazilian will have no qualms in joining Spurs.
