Liverpool have been fighting hard to win their first ever Premier League and at one point it looked like the Reds would achieve that goal pretty easily.

During the end of last year, Liverpool were seven points clear at the club but since then they have constantly dropped points and right now they are just two points ahead of second-placed Man City having played one game more.

Most pundits believe that Pep Guardiola is a much more experienced manager in these circumstances and he is the one who will be victorious at the end of May.

But now the Premier League might just have made a decision which could have just handed a major advantage to Liverpool in the title race.

Man City were supposed to face Cardiff City at the Etihad on the weekend of April 6/7 in the Premier League and now the Citizens will be taking on Brighton in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

This means the Premier League fixture vs the Bluebirds has been rearranged and City will now play Neil Warnock’s side on the third of April.

So right now, as things stand, Man City will take on Cardiff in the Premier League and just 72 hours later they will visit Wembley for the FA Cup and again three days later they will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Man City are chasing history by trying to win the quadruple this season but these rounds of fixtures have not gone down too well with Pep Guardiola who is reportedly very upset with the Premier League.

Man City are expected to beat Liverpool to the Premier League title this season and winning the Champions League is a dream that might very well be fulfilled this year too.

So it leaves behind only the FA Cup and we would not be surprised if Pep Guardiola tries to nick this game from Brighton by playing a second-string side at Wembley.
