Premier League side West Ham United are eyeing a move for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic, as David Moyes hunts for a new centre-forward, according to Euro Sport.

The report claims: “West Ham are considering turning their attention to Luka Jovic as Real Madrid prepare to let him leave.

“It is understood Jovic will not be in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for next season and as a long term target of the Hammers, they may now revisit the situation.

“West Ham are struggling to find a new forward and are desperate to make sure Michail Antonio has back up and competition for the new season.”

Luka Jovic the perfect signing for West Ham United?

Luka Jovic joined Real Madrid for a reported fee of £56.70 million but so far, he has turned out to be a major flop for the La Liga giants.

In fact, he was so poor that Real Madrid sent him out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt during the second half of the 2020/21 season, the club from which he joined Madrid in 2019.

In 21 La Liga games, Luka Jovic has managed to score only two goals and his current market value stands at only £18 million.

Several reports are claiming that the 23-year-old has no future under new boss Carlo Ancelotti and if that is the case then it will be really easy for West Ham United to agree on a deal for him.

His graph has completely gone down in the past two years but if he is available at a cut-price deal then it’s worth the risk for David Moyes.

Luka Jovic will be able to play in Europe if he chooses to join the Hammers but we are not sure if the Serbian will want to join the Premier League.

West Ham United are also keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham but he is probably on his way to AS Roma so trying to make a move for Luka Jovic makes perfect sense.
