Chelsea will have to cough up as much as €120 million for Inter Milan to even consider selling Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in the Italian media.
Football Italia cite Tuttosport: “According to Tuttosport, Romelu Lukaku remains on Chelsea’s radars, but Inter are not open to selling unless they receive an offer exceeding €120m.
“Chelsea are on the lookout for a new centre forward and if they fail to land Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, then they would consider a bid for Inter striker Lukaku.
“Inter don’t want to sell him and Lukaku doesn’t want to leave, but according to the report, the Serie A champions may consider a different future for their striker if they receive an offer exceeding €120m.”
Will Chelsea shell out €120m for Romelu Lukaku?
Romelu Lukaku had a stellar season for Inter Milan and he also shone for Belgium during the European Championship and is one of the strikers that Chelsea are looking at, should they fail to sign Erling Haaland this summer.
But now this €120 million price tag means, Chelsea just cannot find a bargain alternative to the Norwegian international.
Erling Haaland will cost even more than what Inter want for the 28-year-old but Borussia Dortmund are reluctant to let him leave this summer.

Inter Milan, on the other hand, have serious financial woes and if the price is right then there’s every chance they will let Romelu Lukaku head back to the Premier League.
It remains to be seen if the Blues are ready to shell out €120 million for the Belgian international but the way Tuchel is desperate to sign a new centre-forward, it will not be a big surprise if the manager asks the management to sanction a deal for Lukaku in the coming weeks.
Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan in 2019 for a fee of around £66 million and right now, he is valued at £90 million according to TransferMarkt.
