Manchester City have made a fantastic start to the new Premier League season and they are without a doubt the favourites to lift the title at the end of the season.

The Blue Half of Manchester have already scored eight goals in their opening two games of the new campaign and have conceded only one.

But it seems that this dominance might come at a cost for few players who were considered regulars during the previous season.

A big problem for Pep Guardiola last season was the failure to accommodate both Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in the starting line up repeatedly.

But seems that the manager has finally found the solution to this problem.

During the 6-1 win vs Huddersfield, Guardiola chose to play with a three-man back line which meant that both Aguero and Jesus could start up front.

And the manager is expected to use the same formation this weekend too.

But this will certainly not be good news for a number of players – especially the likes of Leroy Sane and Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez started the first game against Arsenal but was on the bench for the Huddersfield game while Leroy Sane is yet to start a game this season.

And if Pep Guardiola chooses to play a back three against Wolves this weekend then, the likes of Sane and Mahrez could once again find themselves on the bench.

Both Sane and Mahrez are wing players which under a 3-5-2 formation is occupied by the wing-backs – Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker.

Wolves should not pose too much of threat to Manchester City so Guardiola is expected to once again start with Aguero and Jesus up front.
